I am at Boston's Bistro tonight with Brian & Gary to meet Stone Brewing Company CEO Greg Koch. Good stuff. Currently in my pint class: Stone's Russian Imperial Stout. Don't forget Boston's was Stone's most Arrogant Pub in 2007!
That looks like a darn good pint from here! We always imagine that US beer is all thin lager. Do tell us more about US ales - it's intriguing to see them, are they easy to obtain, and how do they taste?
Thanks for calling, I'm sure it was fun. By the way.............I expected Brian's boyfriend to be a blonde.
Matt - It is a good pint. Although as you can see, the head served here would probably be illegal in the UK! For those of us that love beer, there are a great number of places to find truly good bear. Our local, Boston's, is one of them. Typically, Boston's will have upwards of eight beers on tap. Periodically, they will even have something on cask! They taste great and most are a real pleasure. That being said, there is still nothing like true English Real Ale. Word has it, there is a new "pub" taking shape south of Dayton. They are supposed to have Real Ale. I can only hope.Mike - Sorry...spur of the moment...and a long story to boot! And yes, although not pictured, Brian's boyfriend was a blonde named Steve...good guess!
You aren't kidding about the head - I guess US drinkers must all have short noses!
Matt - You have seen my nose...you know that is not the case!
